What the payment schedule calculator does not do
- It does not suggest a split. How much to ask up front depends on the project, the client and what your contract says, none of which are arithmetic.
- It does not set dates. Payments here are in order, not on a calendar; for when each invoice falls due once it is sent, use the invoice due date calculator.
- It does not add tax. Enter the project before tax and add it to each invoice in the editor: tax worked out on each payment can differ by a cent from tax worked out on the whole, and it is each invoice that has to be right.
- It does not keep anything. Nothing is written to your browser's storage while you use it and nothing is sent to us, so the figures are gone when you close the tab. Press Create this invoice if you need a document: the payment is handed to the invoice generator in this tab, cleared as soon as it opens, and saved there as a new invoice alongside any you already have.
